House. Mid to late C17, altered C18, extended C19. Timber frame,
refronted in brick. Tiled roof, mostly machine tiles, slates to rear. L
shaped with lobby entrance. 2 storeys and attic. Main range front:
central entrance with porch, casements in altered openings, tall on 1st
floor, broad with cambered heads on ground floor. Gabled wing projects
forward to left. Central stack to rear of ridge. Gable end stack on
wing. Right return has attic window. Catslide over rear extension. Left
return wall part weatherboarded. C19 yellow brick extension to rear
left. Ridge parallel to wing. Secondary entrance. Cambered window heads
of rubbed red brick. End stack to rear. Interior: stop chamfered beams
in main range on both floors. Corner wall posts visible on 1st floor.
