Former house, now shop. Late C17 or early C18, extended and altered in
C19/C20. Timber frame, part exposed with brick nogging. Brick casing,
whitewashed and roughcast. Some weatherboarding. Tiled half hipped
gambrel roof. 2 bays, probable lobby entry originally. 1 storey and
attic. Glazing bar fixed windows. Left side has exposed timber posts,
studs, tension brace and a lintel over a blocked doorway. Right side has
a brick pilaster buttress. Attic window to front in reveal with slightly
cambered head. Central ridge stack. Attached to front a 1 storey
addition, roughcast brick with hipped slate roof and shop windows.
Weatherboarded lean-to extension to left with pantile roof. Rear
additions. Interior: clasped purlin roof.
