2 attached barns and a tack room. Late C17 to early C18. Timber frames
on rendered brick bases, weatherboarded. Tiled roofs. Larger and taller
barn of 5 bays, with 4 bay barn to N both with gabled threshing bays
towards yard. Larger barn has a steeper pitch. Interior: Tenoned purlins
with later bracing struts from straight tie beams. Some curved braces
from lightly jowled wall posts. Studding and bracing retained in framing.
Smaller barn is similar but coarser. Low brick C18 tack room extending to
S, tiled roof.
