Mausoleum


Mausoleum C1900 for the Cavendish-Bentwick family (Dukes of Portland) by
R Weir Schultz. Ashlar. In form of Greek Doric temple, having: 2-step
podium; distyle in antis.colonnade supporting full entablature with
corniced pediment which has block finial and animal-headed rainwater
spouts set-back entrance with panelled double door in architrave. Rear has
internally shuttered opening with architrave, and pediment as before.
