Threshing barn. Early C19 for Carrington Estate. Brick with pantile roof.
Stands at centre of north side of crew-yard. 2 storeys, 5 bays. South
front: stone step to central round-headed board door flanked by single
diamond-shaped breathers, single light casement to right and 3-light
casement to left under segmental arch. 3 circular iron tie-bar ends to left
at first floor level. 3 diamond-shaped breathers above right, 2 rectangular
hatches to left, boarded up at time of resurvey. Dentilled brick eaves
cornice. North side: inserted central sliding door flanked by pairs of
diamond-shaped breathers; 2 first floor segmental-headed hatches with board
doors and strap-hinges mounted on ashlar blocks, the hatch to right flanked
by two small casements.
