House. Early C19 with late C19 extensions to right. Light brown brick with
stone dressings, slate roof. Original block of 2 storeys, 3 bays, in
symmetrical elevation: 2-storey canted bays (with segmental sides) to ends.
Central 6-panel double-leaf door under fanlight in Doric porch with
entablature and blocking course flanked by sashes with sills and glazing
bars under wedge lintels. First floor: 9-pane unequal sashes. Paired
brackets to timber eaves cornice, end and axial stacks. Extensions to right
are not of special interest. Interior: fine early C19 cut-string stair with
fluted stick balusters, scrolled tread ends, and wreathed handrail. 6-panel
interior doors in fluted cases with paterae.
