Pair of houses. Early/mid C18. Brick, colour-washed, pantiled roofs. Each
house is of single storey with attics, 2 bays with a central 4-panel door in
a projecting gabled canopy flanked to right and to left by 16-pane sashes
those to No 10 below segmental heads. Stepped brick eaves cornice. No 8:
two 2-light raked dormers under swept roofs. No 10: single, similar dormer.
End and axial stacks, raised gables.
