4/44 Former stable block to
Low Hall
Former stable block, now kennels. Late C17, much altered in C19. Red brick
with stone dressings, pantiled roof. Single storey with loft, 14 bays.
Originally with central carriage entrance, now blocked, flanked by 2 boarded
doors to right and to left, each with overlight with glazing bars, all under
segmental brick arches. Scattered fenestration of cross-mullion windows all
under flat gauged brick arches. Raised coped gables. Roof dormers with
taking-in doors. Included for group value.
