House. 1776-1799 for Thomas Brooke. Red brick, timber eaves cornice,
graduated slate roof. 2 storeys, 5 bays in symmetrical elevation, with
later extension to right and to rear. Door with panels and margin-pane
glazing under fanlight with radial glazing in doorcase with fluted columns
and capitals. Low pediment. Sashes to right and to left have glazing bars
and sills under flat wedge lintels with raised keyblocks. First floor:
5 similar windows. Bracketed eaves cornice, raised coped gables on shaped
kneelers, end stacks.
