House. c1760; left wall rebuilt and extension to rear of c1820 and c1850
respectively. Ashlar to front wall, with raised quoins, red brick to right
wall, white brick to C19 alterations and extensions. 2 storeys, 5 bays:
centre bay breaks forward slightly under low pediment. Glazed and panelled
door in Doric porch with triglyph frieze and dentilled pediment flanked to
right and left by 2-pane sashes with sills under flat stone arches with
projecting keyblocks. First-floor band. 2-pane sash with sill in eared and
shouldered architrave to centre bay; 2-pane sashes with sills under flat
stone arches with raised keyblocks to right and to left. Moulded eaves
cornice with blocking course, two C20 flat-roofed dormers. End stacks,
raised coped gables. To the left wall is a large mid C19 two-storey canted
bay (to the dining room) with sashes with sills and glazing bars to ground
floor. First-floor sill band to 15-pane unequal sashes. All sashes below
cambered wedge lintels. Moulded cornice.
