House and attached barn. Early/mid Cl9 with earlier new. Gothicised
c1830. Brick, pebbledashed and colour-washed, slate and pantiled roofs.
2 storeys, 2-window front. To left a projecting porch with attached
octagonal turrets. and quatrefoils over the boarded door. To right, a
2-storey gabled canted bay with C20 replacement windows. First-floor
left window is a 2-light casement. Oversailing eaves, barge boards to
the canted bay. Crested ridge, and axial stacks. Rear range (street
elevation): probably of 2 or more builds. 2 storeys, 4 bays, the right
2 bays under a slate roof.Glazed and panelled door below timber porch
flanked by small canted bays with C20 windows and to far left by 2-
light cross window. First floor: four 2-light casements, one with
latticed glazing, the left window with iron glazing bars in numerous
small panes. Axial stacks with paired flues, raised coped gables on
brick kneelers. Beyond is a 3-bay barn with buttresses with offsets.
3-light casement to left and right, 2-light casement to centre. First
floor or loft: three C20 windows. Raised coped gable with broken finial.
