House with attached screen walls and gate piers. Early C19, remodelled in
late C19; possibly earlier origins. Brick, rendered and colour-washed,
slate roofs. Main range of 3 storeys, 7 bays, with later range to right of
2 storeys, 3 bays. C20 double-leaf glazed doors in pilastered doorcase with
pediment to bay 5 flanked to right and left by sashes with sills and glazing
bars. First floor: 7 similar sashes. Second floor: 7 six-pane sashes with
sills. Hipped roof, end stacks. Wing to right has 3 sashes with glazing
bars to ground floor, and 3 similar, smaller sashes with sill band to the
first floor. Hipped roof, side-wall stacks to right. Coped brick screen
walls and rusticated stone piers with pyramidal caps.
