House, now house and shop. Late C18 with mid - late C19 shop front and
later alterations. Brown brick with rendered stacks. Concrete tile roof.
Plan: originally a 2-room central entrance-hall front with though-passage to
left; shop occupies right half. Shop front incorporates house entrance with
C20 door on left, recessed shop entrance with glazed door in panelled reveal
and window to right with 3 elliptically-arched lights beneath plain frieze,
cornice and hood carried on ornate scrolled consoles. To left, C19 plate-
glass sash in original flush wooden architrave with projecting sill and
painted rubbed-brick flat arch with projecting ashlar keystone; board door
to passage beneath boarded panel and similar arch. 4 similar windows to
first floor. Plain wooden eaves board. Coped gables with shaped kneelers.
End stacks, that to right heightened alongside neighbouring house.
