House, now house and shop. Mid C18 with later alterations; late C19
shopfront. Brick, rendered and incised in imitation of ashlar. Welsh slate
roof. 2-room, central entrance-hall plan, opened out to left for shop.
2 storeys, 3 bays. Quoins to right. Central recessed half-glazed fielded-
panelled door in architrave. Shopfront to left with former entrance, now
glazed, and full-height 4-light window to right; both in pilastered surround
with plain frieze and ornate carved consoles carrying moulded cornice and
hood. C19 4-pane sash to right in original raised architrave with
projecting sill . Similar first-floor windows, that above entrance
narrower. Stepped eaves. Coped gables with end stacks. Interior contains
chamfered spine beam with cyma stops to ground floor right. Included for
group value.
