House, now house and shop. Mid C18 with C19 shop front and rendering.
Brick, rendered to front, whitewashed to left gable end. Pantile roof.
Plan: 3-rooms with lobby-entry to right of centre; later rear outshut. 2
storeys, 3 first-floor windows. C19 panelled door in architrave flanked by
2-pane sashes in C18 flush wooden architraves, all beneath keyed and
channelled stucco flat arches. C19 shop front to left has recessed half-
glazed panelled door with 3-light window to left, both door and window in
pilastered surround with plain frieze, cornice and hood. 2-pane first-floor
sashes in C18 flush wooden architraves with sills. Dentilled brick eaves
cornice. Paired wooden brackets to gutter. Tumbled-in brick to raised left
gable. Corniced axial stack. Left gable end has half-glazed door beneath
segmental arch, wrought-iron letters "I L" to gable. Interior. Largely
unaltered, with heavy chamfered spine beams, exposed joists and wide
fireplaces to ground floor; plaster first floors. Not fully investigated.
Empty and unoccupied at time of resurvey.
