GV II
National School, now hall. 1834. Brick, pantile roof. Open room. Single
storey, 3 bays with additional lower gabled entrance bay to right. 3
pointed windows with timber Y tracery. Round-headed board door to entrance
bay. Gable coping terminating in cylindrical blocks. End stack to left.
Plaque to gable end reads:- "National School 1834 Revd Thomas Gur MA
Minister, Thos Turton Church Warden". Additional lean-to to left not of
special interest. Included for group value.
