GV II
House, now 2 dwellings. Late C18, altered in the 1860s for the solicitor
George England. Brick in English garden wall bond, Welsh slate roof.
2 storeys, 3 bays with central bay breaking forward slightly. 4-fielded-
panel door with radial fanlight in pilastered doorcase with open pediment on
consoles. Tripartite sash with glazing bars and C20 board door beneath
overlight to left. To right: unsympathetic PVC window in original opening.
First floor: unsympathetic PVC windows in original openings. Painted rubbed
brick flat arches throughout. Decorative eaves course. Gable coping,
shaped kneelers, central ridge stack. Interior: open-string staircase with
slender turned balusters. Original 6-fielded-panel doors and dado rail.
