Summer house, now house. Late C18 with minor later alterations. Brick in
Flemish bond, gauged brick and stone dressings. Welsh slate roof.
Octagonal in plan, 2 storeys. Ground floor obscured to east by C19 and C20
buildings which are not of special interest. North elevation: C20 inserted
casement. Ashlar band. First floor: round-arched sash with glazing bars
flanked by blind round-arched panels with ashlar impost band and gauged
brick arches. Modillion eaves course. Hipped roof with central octagonal
stack. Interior: first-floor room, now divided, retains original Adamesque
decoration. 2 round-arched windows, otherwise panelled reeded round-arched
alcoves with radial pattern to tympana, with exception of fireplace wall
which has an eared panel. Anthemion and urn cornice.
