House. Mid C18 with earlier origins and C20 renovations. Brick in English
garden wall bond. Pantile roof. 3-cell direct entry with cross wing and 2
additional outshuts to rear. 2 storeys, 3 bays. C20 six-panel door with
overlight between bays 2 and 3. 3-light Yorkshire sashes throughout, those
to ground floor beneath segmental arches, those to first floor below timber
lintels. Dentilled eaves course. Raised gable ends. Large ridge stack
and external stack to right. Rear facade of cross wing has a blocked window
with brick mullion. Interior: massive chamfered cross beam to ground-floor
rooms. Hand-cut joists and trap door to former men's room in kitchen. H-L
hinges to some doors. Vestigial timber-framing in stairwell to attic.
Massive central stack rising through rebuilt roof.
