GV II

House. Mid C18 with later minor alterations. Red-brown brick, whitewashed
to front. Pantile roof. 2-room lobby-entry plan with small store-room to
left, and stairs behind stack. 2 storeys, 2 first-floor windows. Board
door to right of centre beneath segmental arch, flanked by single C20
casements in original openings with sills beneath segmental arches. Small
C20 casement in original store-room ventilation hatch to left. Pair of C20
first-floor casements in original openings with sills beneath segmental
arches. Dentilled brick eaves cornice. Tumbled-in brick to raised gables.
C20 rebuilt ridge stack. Interior. Left room has inglenook fireplace with
chamfered bressumer, chamfered joists and spine beam with stepped tongue
stops; single-flight staircase beside stack.
