Riverside House
SE 90 NE 1/18

Mid C18 house of 3 storeys, cement rendered with slate roof with stacks at gable
ends. Stucco band between ground and lst floors. Stucco keystones. Centre breaks
forward with a window to each storey under a round-headed recess below an open
pediment and with full-height pilasters. Hung sashes with glazing bars. Narrow
wood eaves cornice on paired modillions. 2 windows to ground floor boarded
up at time of survey. Central shouldered doorcase with small frieze and cornice
and panelled reveals. Door of 6 fielded panels below rectangular fanlight with
'Gothick' traceried glazing bars.
Riverside House forms a visual group with White Hart Public House and the
County Bridge.
