House, now shop. Late C18-early C19 with earlier origins to rear section.
Red and blue brick in contrasting Flemish Bond; rear section in coursed
limestone rubble. Pantile roof. 3 storeys, 1 bay. Part-glazed door to
left under segmental brick arch with shop window to right under moulded
cornice and slightly projecting hood. First floor 16-pane sash in flush
wooden architrave with segmental arch and stucco cill. 12-pane sliding sash
under segmental arch to second floor. Stepped eaves. End stack. Rear, to
George Street, has rounded angles stepped-out to projecting first floor
corners, plain door and sliding sash with glazing bars above. Included for
group value.
