House. Early-mid C18 with earlier section to right, late C19 rear outshut
and C19-C20 alterations. Red brick front; sides and earlier section in
coursed limestone rubble with brick dressings and stacks. Rear outshut in
brick. Concrete tiles to earlier section, pantiles elsewhere. 2 storeys
with attic, 3 bays, symmetrical; with 2 low storey 2-bay earlier section to
right. Main front: limestone rubble plinth, part-glazed door beneath plain
overlight in wooden doorcase with pilasters supporting plain entablature,
cornice and hood. Cellar window to left under segmental brick arch. 3 C19
sashes and 2 C20 plain windows with sash bars, all in original flush wooden
architraves with stucco cambered arches and cills. Stepped brick eaves,
moulded wooden eaves board. 2 C20 dormers with casements. End stacks, that
to left projecting slightly from gable end. Section to right: quoins, part-
glazed door under wooden lintel with flush sash to right under segmental
brick arch and a smaller similar window above. Stack to left, adjoining
gable-end of later build. Interior of early-mid C18 build contains: closed
string staircase with column-on-vase-and-bulb balusters, moulded handrail
and panelled dado; panelled room ground floor left with fielded panels,
moulded dado rail, fireplace surround and dentilled plaster cornice; carved
fireplace surround and Gothick-style panelled corner cupboard in bedroom
first floor left; fielded panel window reveals, shutters and doors
