House. Mid C18 with later alterations and additions. Yellow-brown brick.
Pantile roof. L-shaped on plan: 3-room front with stairhall to right of
centre, later rear wing and outshut. 2 storeys, 5 bays; symmetrical. Steps
to central recessed C20 door beneath channelled and keyed stucco cambered
arch. 16-pane ground floor flush sashes with similar stucco arches and
stone cills. 4 first floor unequal flush sashes with glazing bars and stone
cills. Stepped eaves. Brick-coped gable and kneeler to left, stone-coped
gable to right. Central axial stack and end, stacks, that to left a C20
rebuild. Interior: single-flight closed-string staircase of c1800 with
column newel'and balusters; dentilled ceiling cornice to ground floor right;
panelled doors, window shutters and reveals.
