Farmhouse. Mid C19 for Yarborough Estate. Yellow brick in Flemish bond
with slate roof. Double-depth plan with central entrance-hall front and 2-
room wing to rear. 2 storeys, 3 bays; symmetrical. Chamfered plinth.
Pilastered doorcase with cornice and hood; panelled door beneath overlight
with margin lights in panelled reveal. Unequal 15-pane sashes in reveals
with sills and painted cambered brick arches. 2-course first-floor band.
12-pane first-floor sashes. Plain eaves board. Hipped roof. Pair of
stacks to rear with ashlar cornices. Interior: contains geometric staircase
with wreathed handrail and plain balusters; panelled window shutters and
doors in architraves. Included for group value.
