south of Old Vicarage

Folly/screen wall. Early - mid C19 for Rev James Gifford. Brick. Gothic
style. Screen wall with lean-to range (former pig-sties) to rear. Single-
storey height, 3 adjoining sections. Central section with arcade of 5 tall
round-arched recesses with sill band and hood-moulds beneath raised band and
parapet. 3-stage square tower to left with plinth, pointed arch recesses to
each stage with raised bands between, cogged brick cornice and coping.
Section set back to right: recessed central section between end piers with
slits and raised band; remains of wall projecting to front at right angles.
