House. Datestone inscribed M W Later rear outshut and subdivision into
2 houses. C19 - C20 re-roofing. Coursed limestone rubble, rendered to left
gable; ashlar quoins, brick arches to openings. Plain tile roof. Plan: 3
rooms (now 2) with lobby entry to left, former inserted entrance to right;
continuous rear outshut. 2 storeys, 4 first-floor windows. Quoins. C20
half-glazed door beneath lintel with datestone above. 16-pane flush sashes
with projecting sills, C20 sash inserted in blocked door to left. First
floor: similar 16-pane sashes with small 6-pane casement above door. Axial
stack to left, end stack to right. Left return, facing Church Lane: C19 -
C20 ground-floor 2-light casement in ashlar surround beneath segmental brick
header arch, 2-light first-floor casement in brick surround with segmental
arch. Interior: inglenook fireplace and chamfered beams with cyma stops,
fielded-panel doors and panelled window shutters.
