Built circa 1825, though the design is in keeping with that of the original stable
block and the house. 2 storeys in brick with rusticated stone quoins, the whole
now painted. West elevation consists of 3 portions of 2 windows separated by 2
pedimented portions which break slightly forward and contain round-headed archway,
segmental window above, and bullseye in the tympanum, all heavily rusticated.
South elevation has 4 windows and recessed Doric portico with pediment (columns
are modern replacements). 2 large reproduction early C19 bow windows have been
inserted in the ground floor on the conversion of this front to a cafe and shop.
The pediment is crowned by a cupola and clock added in 1847.
