Dated 1849. Architects, Scott and Moffatt. Gothic. Yellow brick, ashlar dressings.
Steep slate roof with ridge and stone coping, 1 and 2 storey height. Left hand
of 1 storey with 2 lancet windows, then gable with trefoil light above 2 lancets
with trefoil heads above canted stone bay, trefoil-headed lights, porch to side
with date stone and arched entry, then 2 lancets flank a rectangular breakforward
under hipped roof with iron finial, 2 lancets, moulded stone cornice. Rear elevation
has hung sash windows with glazing bars.

Sewerby School forms part of an estate group with Sewerby House.
