C18. Brown brick. Pitched modern pantile roof. Coped gable, carried up to
form small parapets at corners. Two storeys. South front has modern sash
with glazing bars on 1st floor and pastiche neo-Georgian shop front. West
front has, on 1st floor, 2 cased sashes with glazing bars, one very small cased
sash, and one early C19 sash with glazing bars, in reveals, with channelled
stucco voussoirs. On ground floor it has one cased sash with glazing bars,
one segment-headed early Cl9 sash with glazing bars, in reveals, and one cased
sash with thick contemporary glazing bars and contemporary glass. No 22 has
an early C19 shop front consisting of 2 windows with glazing bars and reeded
sill, door with reeded transom and oblong fanlight, 4 pilasters with sunk
panels, taking consoles to flat modillioned cornice. North front has 3 ranges
of cased sashes with glazing bars, one on ground floor with thick contemporary
glazing bars: door with 6 fielded panels and oblong fanlight, in wooden frame
with moulded pilasters and Tuscan entablature.
