C18. Former Almshouses. Colour-washed brick. Pitched pantile roof. One
storey. Three windows with glazing bars. Three doors with 4 moulded panels
each. Plaque with "Founded by George Painter 1562." The cottages were endowed
by the will of George Painter, a Hull priest.
