Cross. Medieval. Ashlar. Stump of square shaft on square pedestal.
Overall height approximately 0.5 metre. Known as St Philip's Cross,
dedicated to Philip Ingleberd, vicar of Keyingham, d1325, whose shrine stood
in south chapel of nearby Church of St Nicholas (qv). Cross formerly stood
in a field to the south-west. Victoria County History: York, East Riding,
