Farmhouse, now house. Early C19, possibly with earlier origins. C20
renovations. Front and stacks in yellow brick in Flemish bond, remainder in
red brick. Welsh slate roof to front, pantiles to remainder. L-shaped on
plan: 2-room central entrance-hall front with single-room wing to rear left,
outshuts in angle and single-room addition to rear. South front: 2 storeys
with attic, 3 bays; symmetrical. C20 restored doorcase with fluted
pilasters, entablature with plain frieze, moulded cornice and hood. 6-panel
door beneath moulded cornice and radial overlight in panelled reveal. C20
replacement sashes with glazing bars in original stuccoed reveals with sills
and channelled and keyed cambered wedge lintels; narrower sash above
entrance. Plain eaves board. Stone-coped gables. Ridge and end stacks.
Left and right returns have original 16-pane sashes in flush wooden
architraves, and C20 bow windows in original openings with sills and lintels
similar to front. Interior: open well staircase with ramped handrail,
slender column balusters and newels; moulded cornices and marble chimney-
pieces to ground-floor front rooms; original wooden pilastered chimney-
pieces with moulded cornices to first-floor front bedrooms; panelled window
shutters, 6-fielded panel doors in architraves throughout.
