Mounting block/milestone. Late C18 - early C19. Limestone. Stepped stone,
rectangular on plan, with worn inscriptions on taller section, that on west
side reading VI MIL(ES), that on east side illegible. Ordnance Survey datum
mark inscribed on south side. The distance measured is that from Hull on
the road to Hedon via Bilton. Shown on Ordnance Survey First Edition 1 inch
map, 1824.
