House. c1770 with later alterations. Reddish-brown brick in English garden
wall bond with red brick and ashlar dressings and Welsh slate roof. 2
storeys, main facade to gable end. Ashlar plinth. Arcade of 3 recessed
round arches to 3/4 height with red brick heads and ashlar imposts. Central
entrance a dilapidated door. 4-pane sash to first floor above. Side arches
have inserted casement windows. Pedimented gable has dentilled cornice,
which continues around sides as band, containing semicircular window with
red brick head. Ashlar copings. Ridge stack. Built as a pair with Head
Gardener's Cottage (qv). In process of restoration at time of resurvey.
