Vicarage, now house. Late C18 with later additions and alterations
including refronting of c1840 and late C20 range to right of no special
interest. Colour-washed brick with stone dressings, Welsh slate roof.
U-shaped on plan with rear infill and range to right. 2 storeys, 5 bays,
2:1:2. Central entrance a 6-fielded-panel door with divided overlight in
pilastered ashlar surround with consoles supporting triangular pediment.
Long, narrow 4-pane sashes adjoining to either side. 12-pane sashes
throughout under wedge lintels with continuous sill bands. Ashlar kneelers
and copings. Ridge and end stacks. Left gable has round-arched opening
with multi-paned window. Interior has early C18 panelled room said to have
been brought from elsewhere with 6-panel doors in moulded architraves with
pulvinated friezes and some with triangular pediments; dentil cornice.
Shutters to some windows. The former Rise Park is now known as Rise Hall
(qv).
