Hotel. Early C19. Brick, rendered and colourwashed, stone dressings,
wrought-iron, slate roof. 3 storeys,4 bays 2:1:1. Entrance bay recessed.
Doric porch with twin detached columns and flanking pilasters. All windows
16-pane sashes with stone sills and architraves. First floor and second
floor bands. Moulded eaves cornice, end and axial stacks, with bands.
Decorative wrought-iron screen at second floor level over porch,
incorporating diamond pattern railing and bunch of grapes with vine leaves
and suspended bell. Interior has early C19 cut string stair with brackets,
turned balusters, and wreathed handrail.
