Bank. 1856 by Cuthbert Brodrick. Ashlar, brick, slate roof. Classical
style, 2 storeys, 3 bays. Stepped plinth. 3 steps to panelled door to
right under round arch, with transverse fluting to reveals. Moulded
capitals; transverse fluting and roundel to soffit. Similar arches to
remaining bays, both with C20 glazing. Bays demarcated by pilasters with
transverse fluting. First floor moulded string breaks forward to ends with
foliated finials. First floor: round-headed windows with continuous roll-
mouldings and 12-pane sashes. Full entablature to eaves: shallow moulded
architrave, frieze with rosettes, dentilled cornice with rosettes to
cymatium. Hipped roof, end stack.
