7/96 The Manor House


GV II


House. Early C18. Red brick, stone dressings, pantiled roofs. Probable
hearth-passage plan. 2 storeys and attics, 4 bays 2:1:1. Late C19
tripartite door in Doric porch. 2 late C19 canted bays to left, 4-pane sash
with cambered gauged brick arch an sill to right. Similar 4-pane sashes to
first floor with cambered gauged brick arches and stone sills throughout.
2 C20 roof dormers. Dentilled brick eaves cornice, end stacks, axial stack
with band and dentilled cornice. Plain close verges.
