7/97 Wansford Lock


Lock. 1770, for Driffield Navigation. Red brick with gritstone dressings.
Shaped lock basin with batter to sides. Massive capstones. West gate
renewed, east gate derelict at time of re-survey. A single timber mooring-
post survives to the north side.
