2.7.69 No 65
Early C18. 2 storeys in colourwashed brick with new pantile roof. 3 windows over
2, restored glazing bars. Door of 6 fielded panels with 3-light rectangular
fanlight. Doorway of c1800 with pilasters, entablature and cornice. Inset foot
scraper. Rendered below plinth height. Plaster covered eaves cornice,now with
wood spouting, iron brackets. Tumbled brickwork to gable end. Staircase has
closed string, turned balusters, moulded handrail, plain newels, and fielded
panelling to dado level. Rear wing has room with massive ceiling joists.
