Circa 1800 and 1840. 2 storeys in red brick with stone dressings,painted. 3
windows, sashes with glazing bars, stone heads channelled, with moulded key-
stones. Painted stone central entrance doorway with Doric columns, and entabla-
ture broken back into flat pilasters at each side, moulded architrave, 6-panel
door, and semi-circular fanlight. The frieze of the entablature is fluted and
has husks carved on the arrises. Simple wood crowning cornice, low pitch slate
roof. Side elevation east has a large angular bay in brick. South elevation
added with a range of rooms increasing the depth of the house in 1840. Some
good details remaining in the 1800 portion. Most of glazing replaced after
blast damage.
