Circa 1877. 2 storeys in red brick with Welsh slate roof. 3 windows, hung
sashes with glazing bars, rusticated lintels with keystones. 2 canted bays to
ground floor and doorway with carved moulding and cornice, brackets with swags
and half-glazed door with rectangular fanlight. Panelled pilasters. This was
the home built for the architect W H Elwell. Photograph plO3 'Historic
