c1830-40. Three storeys, red brick front. Low pitch gable end slate roof,
eaves band and spaced brackets to flat eaves. Flat stucco window arches to
two windows on upper floor, and one to left of ground floor (boarded up at time
of survey) - flush architrave framed glazing bar sashes. On right of ground
floor, contemporary shop front of 5 x 4 panes hung sash and flush panelled
door in pilaster frame with plain frieze and cornice. Passage door to left
hand of front. Important position and strong group value with adjoining east
side of Saturday Market.
