9/329 Nos 29 to 31
No 29, C18. Nos 30-31, C17 or earlier, refronted in C18. Timber-framed: one
post and rear wallplate visible internally. Two storeys and attics in painted
brick with pantile roof with brown brick end chimney. Gabled dormer with
sliding casements. First floor has enlarged sash window with exposed frame
and glazing bars. Ground floor has modern shop window with glazing bars and
wood case entrance with rectangular fanlight. No 30 probably early C18 with
alterations. Two storeys and attic. Two windows now with metal casements.
Limewashed brick. Pantile roof behind plain coping. Ground floor shop front
with wood case and entrance with fanlight. No 31 has two storeys and attic
in painted stucco with pantile roof with moulded coping. One window. Ground
floor shop front with wood case with pilasters and dentil entablature and
entrance with fanlight. Two late C18 chimneypieces with fluted band below
