Newly built by Robert Brown, carpenter, in 1785. 3 storeys and attic in
brick with slate roof. Bracketed eaves cornice. 4 near flush frame casement
windows to 2nd floor with painted flat arches. 1st floor includes 2 canted
square bay windows. Late C19 shop window at ground floor, and matching
doorcase with an arched fanlight. Panelled reveals and door of 6 fielded
panels. Interior has 'Adam'- style stucco ceiling to stairwell and original
staircase, good original lockplates and other door furniture.
