House. C17 or earlier origins, extended to rear in late C18. Eaves raised
and roof rebuilt c1818. Red brick in irregular bond, slate roofs. Re-used
ashlar to lower quoins on front elevation. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central
4-panel door, with overlight with glazing bars, under segmental gauged brick
arch. 16-pane sashes to right and to left. First-floor band. Three
16-pane sashes with painted sills to first floor. Dentilled brick eaves
cornice, end and axial stacks, hipped roof. Interior: fine late C17 open-
well cut-string stair with heavy moulded handrail, vase balusters, and
square newels, the lowermost supported by a decorated console.
