GV II*

Road bridge over River Derwent. 1727, to a design by William Etty of
York. Ashlar. Central segmental span flanked by shallow refuges with
similar smaller spans to north and south. String to ramped bridge deck
with low parapet. The south span was widened in the C19. Formerly a Scheduled
Ancient Monument - Yorkshire (East Riding). No 68.
