Farmhouse, now 2 houses. Late C18 with later additions and alterations.
For Sir Christopher Sykes, second Baronet, to his own design. Pinkish-brown
brick in irregular English garden wall bond, rendered to front facade, with
Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays, symmetrical facade, with central
projecting bay, and with later range to left front of no special interest.
Entrances to right return of centre bay and to left return, a 4-panel, part-
glazed door and a board door both below segmental heads. Centre bay has
round-arched recess to full height. Ground floor has central C19 bay window
with French doors. To first floor a 16-pane sash with radial glazing to
head. Wings (alike): ground floor has 16-pane sash, first floor has
12-pane, unequally-hung sash. Side wings under lean-to roofs, hipped roof
to central section. Centre stack.
