A terrace built as 8 houses in 1873-74 and converted into a hotel in 1876. 3
storeys and attics stuccoed. Slate roof in a series of hips with 14 dormers.
Bracket eaves cornice. 17 plate glass windows. Thw 2 centre window bays, the
2 westernmost window bays and the 5 easternmost window bays project. Each such
projection has a hooded balcony on the lst floor in Regency tradition. 2 bays
in the ground and first floors on each side ofthe centre projection. Central
glazed porch added in 1897.
